Perhaps part of the reason the business is so dedicated to its work is that the employees enjoy their return customers. Or maybe it's that they are dedicated, like their work ethic, to one another as a family. Owner Cecil Wilson has always had a love for cars and began working for his cousin during the summers at his body shop in Lakeville. That's how he fell in love with his first car, a 1955 Chevy Nomad.

Cecil purchased Truman Motors in 1985, a former AMC franchise new car dealership. Today with his employees taking care of their customers, the Wilson's work side-by-side with their son Jamie, daughter Nikki and Cecil's brother Tim and now his Grandson, Cody. Cecil's daughter Nikki manages the office with the help of his wife Pam and the Wilson men are experienced in all aspects of the related work. And while Cecil said he loves all areas of his career, his favorite part is working on the classics.

"I know people always say it but I really do love my job and what I do," Wilson explained. He said he enjoys coming to work(six or seven days a week)  His favorite auto-related accomplishment is the full restoration of a 1967 NCRS Top Flight. "Every nut, every bolt is correct," he said with a smile.
